The two studios I was most moved by were:
This one - the woman had it built to her specs.
How nice to have your flat files in the studio space, not in the home.
The view outside her studio.
The other studio and home I was most touched by was this ceramicist.
The magic of this ceramic studio. The studio space is larger than the house.
Magic of the ceramic room. Oh to be able to walk through this door.
This is a third artist's home and art studio I visited.
I was struck by the huge tree next to the house that had so much presence.
The studio was a room in the back of the house that was used as a home school. When their child grew up, he got to transform the room into his art studio space.

This road trip was eye opening. Seeing country homes in Sebastopol, and the spaces artists have carved out for themselves has gotten me back in the state of dreaming.
