A most wonderful "artbook" by Lorna Stevens is the idea -
1. take an old hard covered book
2. carve the word "Huia" out of the outer book spine.
3. then, I think what she did was take heavy paper and cut and pasted book pages onto the accordian paper and somehow, re-attached the new artbook into the old original hardback. She then erased lots of text and added drawings onto the pages. A lovely book. A wonderful idea.
The final book was created into a limited edition and she added a CD soundtrack of the bird call for people to be able to hear the call of this now extinct bird from New Zealand.
